Christian Counseling in Missoula

Counseling that makes room for your faith.

For many people, faith is part of how they understand their lives, their relationships, and what they've been through. If that's true for you, it can be part of counseling too.

I'm Cheyenne Hundley, a licensed clinical social worker in Missoula, Montana. I offer Christian counseling for women and girls, in person in Missoula and by telehealth anywhere in Montana.

How It Works

Your faith, at the pace you choose.

Christian faith is always optional in our work together, and always led by you. That might mean talking about God, scripture, or prayer as part of a session. It might also mean working with a counselor who understands where you're coming from, with faith in the background. Both are welcome.

We'll talk about what you're looking for in your free consultation, and you can change your mind at any point.

Alongside faith, I use approaches with a strong research base, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, the Gottman Method, and trauma-focused care. I choose what fits you and what you're working through.

Questions

About Christian counseling.

Do I have to be a Christian to see you?

No. Faith is part of sessions only when a client asks for it. If you'd like counseling without it, that's completely fine.

Is Christian counseling different from regular counseling?

The care is the same: a licensed clinician using established approaches. The difference is that your faith is welcome in the room, and we can draw on it when it helps.

Do you take insurance for Christian counseling?

Yes. Sessions are billed the same way as any other session. I accept several plans, and a sliding scale is available on request. Fees and insurance.

Can we meet by telehealth?

Yes. I see clients in person in Missoula and by telehealth anywhere in Montana.
