Support for girls growing up in a lot at once.
The preteen and teen years bring friendships, school, social media, and big questions about who you are. It's a lot to carry, and it helps to have someone steady to talk to.
I'm Cheyenne Hundley, a licensed clinical social worker. I offer counseling for preteen and teen girls in Missoula and by telehealth anywhere in Montana.
Common reasons girls come in.
You're welcome to reach out first.
In the free 15-minute consultation, you can tell me what you're noticing, ask questions, and see whether I'm a good fit for your daughter.
Sessions are with your daughter. We'll talk together at the start about how that works, including what stays between her and me and how we keep you involved. I also hold a Nurturing Parenting certificate, and I'm glad to share ideas for supporting her at home.
Patient, practical, and on her side.
I work at a pace that feels safe, and I focus on skills she can use outside the room: naming feelings, handling stress, and working through conflict with friends and family. I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and strength-based work.
If your family would like Christian faith to be part of counseling, I'm glad to include it. More about Christian counseling.
